Beck Anxiety Inventory

The Beck Anxiety Inventory is a widely accepted self-report measure of anxiety in adults and adolescents for use in both clinical and research settings and just takes five minutes to complete.

The Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) is a 21-item, self-rated scale that evaluates key symptoms of depression including emotional, physiological, and cognitive symptoms of anxiety from depression  while displaying concurrent validity. Each item is descriptive of subjective, somatic, or panic-related symptoms of anxiety (Beck, Epstein, Brown, & Steer, 1988).

This assessment does not itself indicate a diagnosis nor is it intended to treat any mental disorder in any way. To determine any potential diagnosis and possible treatment, please be sure to discuss your results with Dr. Gilbert Chalepas or a qualified mental health professional.
